Purpose and organization

The initiative seeks to recognize ten Brazilian stories of people who turned ideas into achievements using ChatGPT. The operations team receives nominations, checks information, follows projects and prepares dossiers for the jury.

Who can take part

An entry must present a project actually created or developed with ChatGPT. The story must describe an achievement and the tool’s concrete contribution. A person making a nomination must provide truthful information.

People professionally connected to the organization or jury may not compete, including members of the initiative’s operations, curation, coordination and evaluation teams. Conflicts of interest must be reported to the organization. A nomination does not remove these exclusions or guarantee entry, evaluation or selection.

How to nominate or submit a story

To nominate another person, choose “Nominate someone” and provide your name and email, the nominee’s name and contact details or profile, the story, location when known and a project link when available. To submit your own work, choose “Share my story”. The options for unknown location and no link may be used when accurate. Read and accept the Privacy Policy and these Rules before submitting.

The operations team reviews the nomination and, where appropriate, invites the person responsible to confirm their interest and complete the project dossier in the private area. They must review the information, explain authorship, ChatGPT use, results and evidence, answer any requests for additional information and submit the project within the communicated deadline. Saving a draft is not final submission. A third-party nomination does not authorize participation or publication on the nominee’s behalf.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of information and files. Text assistance is optional and does not remove your responsibility to review it or allow invented facts. Do not submit material that infringes others’ rights. Duplicate nominations may be grouped for review; receiving more nominations does not guarantee an advantage in selection.

The five stages and schedule

The process has five stages: nomination; project submission by the nominee; jury evaluation; shortlist announcement; and TOP 10 selection and announcement. Operations checks and requests for additional information form part of preparing projects for evaluation. The published schedule below uses the same dates as the website.

These are the dates published on the home page, in Brasília time. The organization announces evaluation and shortlist dates on the website and through participation communications.

Evaluation and TOP 10 selection

The jury assesses eligible, verified projects using the three published criteria below. Evaluation considers the achievement’s context and evidence, rather than popularity or nomination count. The curation team may request clarification about facts, authorship, results and use of the tool.

The shortlist contains stories progressing to final selection. The aim is to choose ten stories for the TOP 10 after evaluation and eligibility checks. The organization communicates the outcome through initiative channels and to selected participants. Publication of each project and its images requires the specific permission described in these Rules. Participation does not create an automatic right to selection or publication.

Originality, creativity and innovation

What did this person create or solve in their own way, and what did it bring to their context?

This criterion assesses the project's original contribution: the idea, the choices made and the response to a need or opportunity. All three concepts contribute to a single score. Originality: the proposal's distinct identity, expressed through its creator's perspective and the choices that set it apart from existing solutions. Creativity: the ability to connect ideas, adapt resources and find relevant ways to create something or solve a problem. Innovation: a new approach or improvement put into practice in a product, service, process or experience. It can be meaningful within the project's context even if it is not a world first. Jurors should consider the creator's decisions, the alternatives explored and what is new or better about the solution. Innovation can come from a simple application well suited to a particular situation.

AI's contribution

What difference did AI make in bringing this project to life?

This criterion assesses the concrete contribution of artificial intelligence to developing and carrying out the project. For this award, the assessment should specifically identify the role of ChatGPT and/or OpenAI tools, as set out in the brief. Demonstrating that contribution means showing where the tool was used, how its outputs were applied and which barriers it helped overcome. This may include learning a skill, exploring possibilities, producing, testing, improving quality or making execution possible. The score considers the connection between AI use and the project's progress, alongside the human choices, reviews and decisions involved. Process examples, versions and demonstrations help establish this connection. A simple but decisive use of AI can receive the highest score.

Impact of the achievement

What actually changed because of this project?

This criterion assesses the significance of results already achieved for the creator, the audience or the community. An achievement is an idea put into practice. Its impact is the change that achievement brings about. That change may involve learning, access, independence, work, income, culture, productivity, quality of life or social transformation. Jurors should consider the initial goal, the situation before the project and the available quantitative or qualitative evidence, such as usage records, results, testimonials and demonstrations. The score should reflect how meaningful the change is in the project's context. A local or individual result can have a major impact. Future projections should be identified as potential, with the assessment based on results already observed.

Images, publication and intellectual property

Submitting the form or project allows internal handling to run and assess the participation, but does not automatically authorize publication of your name associated with the story, image, voice or project materials. Before publication, the organization must obtain specific permission identifying the content, channels and terms of use. You may withdraw that permission through the campaign contact. Withdrawal prevents new uses based on that consent and directs removal from channels managed by the organization, subject to legal and technical limits; it cannot materially undo earlier lawful disclosures or copies made by others.

The work and its intellectual property remain with the author and respective rights holders. Participation does not transfer ownership of the project to the organization. Participants must hold the necessary rights and permissions for submitted materials, including images and other people’s data. Public use must stay within the scope of the specific permission granted.

Personal data and withdrawal from participation

The Privacy Policy explains collected data, purposes, processors and data subject rights. Acceptance is recorded with the date, time and versions of both documents. You may contact the campaign to withdraw from participation, request deletion or withdraw permissions. Withdrawal may prevent continued evaluation and selection, without limiting your rights or lawful retention of records.

Privacy Policy

Disqualification

The organization may disqualify entries that fail ChatGPT use or exclusion requirements; contain false information, fraud, plagiarism or rights violations; attempt to manipulate the process; or fail to provide essential information and requested additions within the communicated deadline. Decisions must be based on facts and the initiative’s rules, and clarification may be requested before a decision is finalized. Participants may ask for information and provide clarification through the campaign contact.

Changes, cancellation and resolving questions

The organization may adjust the schedule or rules for justified reasons, such as operational needs, security, legal requirements or events preventing the initiative from running as planned. Significant changes, suspension or cancellation will be announced on the website and through available contacts for affected participants, explaining the reason and applicable guidance. Changes do not authorize retroactive use of data or materials beyond the permission given and must preserve participants’ rights.

Send questions and requests for clarification to the campaign contact. Brazilian law applies. For court proceedings, participants retain the right to the courts of their place of residence, without excluding another mandatory jurisdiction established by law. The version and effective date of these Rules appear at the top of the page.
